It was my turn to choose the subject for this week’s Spitballin’ challenge, and I finally settled on Adventure Time, one of my favorite shows. Actually, as of April, Adventure Time, Avatar, Community and Game of Thrones are all in new runs of episodes. If Breaking Bad and Doctor Who would hurry up and come back I’d never leave the apartment.
When the book is written on my life, they’ll call this my bros smiling at bros period.

Luke Skywalker and Yoda // David Cutler
Never would I ever have thought I’d be doing Star Wars fan art, but I watched the original untouched trilogy a couple weeks ago and here we are. Empire’s my favorite (not even a contest really) and my favorite scenes in Empire are on Dagobah. I like to imagine that Luke and Yoda eventually did some bonding over his rations off-screen while training there, and Yoda told him stories of the old, pre-clone wars days in a rare moment of lucidity.

Awesome theme at Spitballin’ this week. I originally saw PotA on CityTV when I was 12 or 13 or so, and I was excited to finally understand all the references the Simpsons made to it back in those days. Dr. Zaius and the ruling class evolved from those blonde eyebrow-having apes you always hear so much about. I figure he must have been a yeti.
